Claude Subscription Offers Terms and Conditions
1. The Offer
This Claude subscription offer (the “Offer”) gives you access to the promoted Claude plan (the “Offer Plan”) (e.g., a plan for not charge or at listed discounted price) for the introductory period shown at sign-up (the “Offer Period”).
These Offer Terms are Supplemental Terms under Anthropic’s Consumer Terms of Service (for Pro and Max plans) or Commercial Terms of Service (for Team and Enterprise plans), as applicable (the “Terms”). These terms apply to the relevant Offer Plan specified in the Offer.
2. Duration
After you redeem the Offer, the duration of the Offer lasts for the Offer Period, which is specified. The Offer also may have a redemption window, which will be specified. This Offer is available for a limited time.
3. Eligibility
To redeem the Offer you must have an Anthropic account, be located in a region where the Offer Plan is available, and provide a valid payment method. Unless stated otherwise at sign-up, the Offer is limited to new subscribers or existing subscribers upgrading as part of the Offer and to one redemption per person and per account. Other eligibility requirements may apply.
Unless otherwise stated, if you redeem the Offer by upgrading from an existing paid Claude plan, the prepaid, unused portion of your current billing period will be refunded to your original payment method (or credited toward your first Offer Plan charge), as shown at checkout.
The Offer has no cash value, is non-transferable, and can’t be combined with other offers unless we say so at sign-up. Anthropic may determine eligibility and may refuse or revoke the Offer for fraud, abuse, or breach of the Terms (including creating multiple accounts to redeem more than once).
4. Recurring Billing and Cancellation
Charges during the Offer Period. For free trials, your payment method will not be charged for the Offer Plan during the Offer Period, though we may place a temporary authorization hold to verify it. For discounted subscriptions, your payment method will be charged the discounted price for the Offer Plan at the start of the Offer Period. If you enable Extra Usage during the Offer Period, Extra Usage charges are billed separately at standard rates and are not covered by this Offer.
Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of the Offer Period, your Offer Plan will automatically continue as a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged the then-current standard price for the Offer Plan on a recurring basis until you cancel.
How to cancel. To avoid being charged at the standard price, cancel before the last day of the Offer Period. If you cancel during the Offer Period, you’ll keep access to the Offer Plan until the Offer Period ends, then revert to the free Claude tier or your prior plan. If subscribed through Anthropic, you can cancel at any time in Settings > Billing. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through that store, and its billing and refund terms apply instead of these.
Refunds and withdrawal. If applicable in your jurisdiction, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within the legally applicable number of days of subscribing without giving any reason. In all other situations, amounts charged under this Offer are non-refundable.
By starting your free trial and logging in, you consent to immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once you have fully accessed the digital content during the withdrawal period
For discounted trials, you may withdraw from the discounted Offer Plan purchase within the relevant number of days of redeeming the Offer and receive a refund of the discounted amount you paid.
5. Changes and General
Anthropic may modify, suspend, or end this Offer or these Offer Terms at any time, including to correct errors. The Offer is void where prohibited. The Terms apply in full to this Offer.
