We invite short proposals in causal human biology, structural and computational molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, and clinical science.
Successful applications have clear reasoning for why they will uniquely benefit from internal research models and harnesses, and from direct collaboration with Anthropic researchers. They make a reasonable case that a deliverable (a preliminary discovery, an answer to an open question, an open-source dataset or public resource) will be produced within 8–12 weeks. We understand that solutions to most open problems take much longer to validate, but successful applications will produce some preliminary evidence in a relatively short time.
Describe a problem of interest to the field, why you are uniquely qualified to pursue it, what the impact and outcomes might look like, and why you would benefit from a research collaboration. Projects can be extended.
